Governor Ganduje dismisses his commissioner due to the appointees "unguarded utterances."
Dr. Muhammad Tahar Adam, the Commissioner for Religious Affairs in Kano State, has been fired by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
He was accused of making careless comments and handling the business of his office on a personal level.
The removal was effective immediately, according to a statement made on Friday by Mallam Muhammad Garba, the state commissioner for information and internal affairs.
Garba claimed that as a substitute, Ganduje has already given the name of Dr. Nazifi Ishaq Bichi of Bayero University, Kano to the House of Assembly.
He claimed that the commissioner and a member of the state executive council were fired as a result of their unseemly behavior and unguarded remarks as public officials occupying sensitive positions.
He further claimed that the 'Baba Impossible' former commissioner had been "found to be running the affairs of his office as personal business and even arbitrarily lowering working days for the workers of the ministry, exempting Wednesdays and Fridays."
In addition to functioning without proper input, Baba Impossible, according to the Commissioner, has not been loyal to the government.
The statement also stated that the governor wished the fired Commissioner well in his future endeavors.
