Players received disappointing news: STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl has been delayed once again.
The highly anticipated open-world FPS game, Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, developed by GSC Game World, has recently shared some disappointing news. The much-awaited title, eagerly anticipated since last year, has once again been delayed. Players will now have to wait until September.
It is set to release on September 5 for PC and Xbox Series consoles. STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was initially expected to be released in April of last year. However, it was surprisingly postponed to the first quarter of 2024. Just recently, GSC Game World shared a new in-game trailer revealing the final release date of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, which is September 5.
The reason for the delay is straightforward. According to fan tests, STALKER 2 is complete, but there are still aspects that need polishing. As you may know, Stalker 2 is a first-person shooter game set in a vast open world centered around Chernobyl, filled with anomalies. In this massive 64 square kilometers map, players will encounter dangerous enemies, lethal anomalies, and an entirely new story. Therefore, it's worth noting that the news is not surprising.
Recommended system requirements for Stalker 2 include an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K processor, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB, and Nvidia RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB. Additionally, users will need an SSD and 150 GB of storage space. It's also worth mentioning that Stalker 2 will be available on PC Game Pass on the first day of its release.
