State of cNFT adoption on Solana Bounty
About the Bounty
This is a bounty for the best essays that describe the state of cNFT adoption on Solana.
cNFTs have fundamentally altered the digital collectibles landscape,
- from scarcity to abundance
- from PFPs to art, memes, music, podcasts, games, stickers & comics
- from vanilla mint pages to contextual in-app experiences
- from high mint prices to claim games
The first-order effect of compression is that it drastically reduces the cost of distributing NFTs at scale.
But, the second-order effect of making something inexpensive is that sets off a virtuous cycle,
--> people can run lots of experiments with it,
--> some of these succeed & capture user attention
--> and that attracts people who want to build more products, tools and use cases to service that attention.
--> which captures more user attention...
