Mark Okhman on TON:Hack-TON-berfest livestreamHacktoberfest is underway for open-source projects
Mark Okhman on TON:
Good morning folks! This morning I've received a donation from one of subscribers, 5 TONs that really warmed my heart in this cold snowy morning ❤️
I haven't posted any videos or messages for more then 2 weeks. I want to really apologize for that, but in return I'm anouncing a little surprise for you. Let me explain 🙂
After the Dubai TON Fam meetup, I was invited to participate in an interesting project - implementing Wrapped TON. This is such a great opportunity for me to practice and learn. I will record a special video about how this project went, how wrapped TON smartcontracts work and what I have learned while writing those contracts. You will definitely like it and learn with me!
Thanks for your patience, fam! I will not put you down ❤️
My first experience with programming NFT happened recently 🙂
Spent around 5 hours having good talks while programming with kingyTON collection owner @investkingyru_en The guys are closely following everything that happens in TON, oftentimes they publish investigations and interesting insights. My opinion - the best place to learn the history of TON community.
We've programmed a a New Year Soulbound NFT collection for all the holders of kingyTON. I wish I could watch such a video when I just joined TON - we've been talking about basics, we've had bugs, we've resolved them - this is so usefull for the newcomers. Please share that with those who considers start programming for TON 🙌🥰
Source code also public 🚀

Hey Fam,
It’s been rough 2 months of Dorahacks. I’m proud of every team and every builder! 😍
I understand that there has been some discussion and concerns surrounding the judging process during the DoraHacks hackathon. As someone who deeply cares about the TON ecosystem, I believe it's essential to address these concerns and maintain a transparent and fair environment. Personally, I didn’t take part in the judging process, but I understand that it would be also super hard for me to not let some projects to next rounds.
It's important to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all participants, regardless of the outcomes. The hackathon serves as an opportunity for growth, learning, and collaboration within our community.
Let's continue to work together and focus on the shared goal of fostering the TON ecosystem's development. By maintaining a supportive and constructive community, we can overcome any challenges that come our way and ensure a bright future for TON.
Let’s make TON great together 🚀
Telegram Premium service now accepts Toncoin (TON).
Fragment has added an option where users can purchase Telegram's Premium subscription service using Toncoin (TON), the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network (TON).
A three, six or 12-month subscription are all available using a Tonkeeper address.
Telegram Premium is a subscription service that unlocks additional exclusive features, while helping to support the development of the app.
The ability to pay for a subscription using TON will attract a lot of new users to the TON ecosystem and bring mass adoption closer.
Long time no see, Fam ❤️
I've been having a blast with ChatGPT lately. Just today, I asked the intriguing question, "Will TON succeed?" Here's an interesting part of the response:
"The success of any blockchain project depends on several factors, including its technical capabilities, community support, adoption, regulatory environment, and competition in the market. While TON technology has potential, the future success of projects utilizing this technology will depend on how well they address these factors and respond to the evolving blockchain landscape."
What do you think? In your opinion, what are TON's strongest and weakest points when it comes to these factors? Feel free to send me a direct message at @markokhman to discuss further.
Hello fam!
I would like to provide an update following my recent post about TON as well as channel rename. I have received a ton of feedback from the community through direct messages, and it really showed me how much people care about me and my journey. I realised that the TON community truly feels like a family in many ways.
Reflecting on my decision to leave, I now realise that I had all the right dots, but didn't connect them properly. This experience has taught me the importance of communication and building relationships with each other among community.
I am trying to acquire an investor mindset and thus lots of my arguments were related to different kinds of uncertainties around capital flowing into TON, liquidity present in TON market and other things around regulations. Since I made a post I had a few talks with people on different levels in TON and those were very educational for me personally.
Things I’ve learned about parties that are investing in TON, specifics of fundraising for a projects built on TON, Binance listing perspectives and other - changed my mind and I decided to keep contributing into our future success with TON.
Furthermore, I am excited to announce that I am now part of the TON Foundation team. In my new role, I will be working with Director of Developer Relations, Anthony Tsivarev, to make the TON community an even better place for developers. My goal remains the same: to work with developers, create content, build, and help those who are building.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement during this time. I'm excited to continue being a part of the TON fam and contributing to its growth and success.
Stay tuned for the updates, I will be sharing my personal thoughts here ❤️

Save the date. See you there, folks!
Years ago, we built TON – a scalable and fast blockchain technology. TON was designed to serve hundreds of millions of social media users. Since 2020, the TON technology has been maintained and improved by the open source community.
Last year, we enabled our users to buy and sell Telegram usernames and IDs on Fragment – a TON-based auction platform. It was a phenomenal success. Telegram sold $120M worth of digital assets in auctions, while early buyers of some Telegram-related digital assets – such as Telegram anonymous numbers – have seen a 27x (!) increase in value after only 9 months.
This success showed the potential of Web 3.0 on Telegram. For the first time in history, users were allowed to own their social media identities directly. Now we want to integrate blockchain technologies deeper into Telegram. To do that, we worked with the folks from the TON community to add their TON Wallet to Telegram as a mini-app.
Starting this November, TON Wallet will be included in the settings and attachment menus for all our users outside the US and some other countries (if you added @wallet and have the latest version of Telegram, you can already see the wallet option in the menus). This step will allow developers to enable hundreds of new valuable features – similar to those pioneered on Fragment. TON Wallet, a third-party mini-app inside Telegram, will introduce a whole new dimension of Web 3.0 to hundreds of millions of Telegram users.
Few months ago I had a great privilege to be part of a great educational project - our team has been working on a video course for TON Blockchain.
This course is now available online - have a look https://stepik.org/course/176754
Hello everyone,
I haven't posted for quite some time and also a lot of newcomers have joined, so I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Mark, I am 30 years old. I'm the founder of XTON Launchpad and my Web3 journey is deeply connected with TON Blockchain.
◉ My TON journey started by working in the amazing TON Whales team, learning from some of the best developers on TON.
◉ Meanwhile I was recording multiple tutorials, sharing my findings with other builders in the ecosystem
◉ Along with my friend, we've also interviewed multiple TON projects' founders, to get their vision on the future of TON Ecosystem and opportunities
◉ Joining TON Foundation on the path of educating builders globally, I've taken part in multiple hackathons and tech talks in India, Korea, Singapore and Europe
◉ I joined TON Foundation fulltime to run TON Grants & Bounties program and many other DevRel activities.
As a result of this amazing journey, I was able to contribute to TON Ecosystem and meet amazing people, who believe in TON and Telegram as the future of Web3 world.
Today, the whole XTON team is working fulltime to help projects activate millions of users for daily life Web3 use cases. We're on a great mission to empower a massive Telegram user base with great products and tools.
In this channel I will be sharing with you my thoughts about TON, Telegram, and Web3, so stay in touch and join XTON Social media channels to not miss the opportunity to take part in the next big project.
The quickest way to onboard is to run through a quest, earning points by completing tasks and inviting your friends will increase your chances to get whitelisted for an allocation on XTON's next token sale.

Hack-TON-berfest livestream
Hacktoberfest is underway for open-source projects on TON and will close in nine days.
More than 20 TON projects need help from contributors, so all developers are encouraged to join the festival!
Hack-TON-berfest is an excellent opportunity to make the first step toward building a reputation in the TON community, contribute to the development of the Web3 internet, and receive a limited-edition NFT.
On Oct. 24 at 16:00 (UTC), people will be able to join a livestream where they’ll learn how to make a quality Pull Request, the reasons why people should participate in such an event, and how open-source development influences the growth of the TON ecosystem.
The stream will be hosted by:
— Danila Volkov, creator of the first mining pool on TON and one of the developers at Whales Corp.
— Mark Okman, another member of the TonWhales team and creator of YouTube and Telegram channels on programming on TON and in the world of Web3.
The stream will be held on YouTube on TON Society’s channel.
We recommend all beginners join the stream of open-source development who want to join the festival but don’t know where to start.
Chill Saturday, fam!
Found a nice repo from @delabteam that is enabling SPA to authenticate with TON wallets.
But ooooops, it didnt work with Next.js which I love and admire. So I decided to write some code to make it happen 🙂
Here is my first dev.to article https://dev.to/markokhman/using-delab-connect-with-nextjs-52j7
I really hope this will help you and yes - have a good weekend guys!
Today in Dubai meetup I was giving a small lecture outlining a map of learning curve for guys who want to start programming TON-related products.
As promised to all participants - here is the link to the Miro board with all the lecture contents.
You can comment and I will update the map.
