The Post-it Note was invented by 3M scientist Spencer Silver in 1968. He developed a weak adhesive, but couldn't find a use for it. Later, another scientist, Art Fry, used it to create the first Post-it Notes, initially called "Press 'n Peel" bookmarks. Want an even shorter version?
