September Update

What's up guys. I haven't written in awhile as I've been fairly busy, but a lot has changed.
In my last article I touched base on why I was deciding to leave DESO & how I was affected by being hacked.
Upon moving in I made a rather rush decision that unfortunately turned out poorly as well. I accepted a new position with a new cannabis company that was closer to my new apartment. During my interview the SM clearly stated my position was ASM & we negotiated a wage I was happy with. Fast forward two weeks & payday comes. That bastard lied to me about my wage & job title. When I tried to get him on the phone I was told "It is what it is 🤷‍♂️ I'm not paying you more. If you have a problem with that you can quit." So that's what I did, without much thought or consideration. I'm deciding, fuck the cannabis industry. Whatever works out, it's better than 12 hour shifts, no benefits & no breaks. Selling weed legally is great & all, but at the end of the day, it's a crappy service job that really leads to nowhere, and you're not protected. (as long as cannabis remains federally illegal, industry workers have few rights) On the bright side, I've landed 2 jobs this week that I'm happy with & I'm going to try juggling both for a bit. I will be a Verizon mobile Expert by day & a pharmacy technician by night 🌙

On another note, Leaving DESO came with some offshoot. Some community members were upset with my decision to quit working on the DESO blockchain. Then a few were even more upset that I decided to recreate the same idea on $BASE. I expected this, and I offered to refund a few of my investors who spent a decent sum. Ultimately it is my choice to do what I please with what I create, I do this for me. I don't make a lot of money doing this yet & because this is fun for me, I've always chosen to share my profits. I had to remind some people of this & if they don't support me in the future, well, fuck em 🤷‍♂️

Since joining Farcaster & exploring many dapps on $BASE, I feel as though I've dived down a rabbit hole. My goal is to build a community here & bring utility to my artwork through Farcaster dapps. I am in the process of creating a WhitePaper for holders of my artwork moving forward.

I created a foundation account recently as well for more experimental avenues & fine styles of artwork, as a more professional style seems to appeal here. On that note, they created a new app simalar to Instagram with features simalar to Zora.

The purpose of rodeo is to share your journey & make it collectible for your fans. It focuses on a mass distribution model instead of highlighting auctions or 1/1 creations. I really enjoy this new app & I've began minting my doodles & promotional content related to NomadLands & NomadFrens there.

I will mostly be spending my time getting my shop filled with artwork, expanding my community, & working a lot lately, but I plan to keep posting my updates here.
