SURVIVAL
Survival is more than just an attribute.
It is more than a quality. It is a must. It is a necessity. Nobody can survive without adopting. For that reason alone, every survivor is a hero. And there's a saying I like, it says;" whatever it takes, Survive". I love it because it believe and champions survival. An example of survival is someone beating cancer. The fact of having survived. (as a modifier) Of, relating to or aiding survival.
Definition of Survival: Survival, or the act of surviving, is the propensity of something to continue existing, particularly when this is done despite conditions that might kill or destroy it. The concept can be applied to humans and other living things, to physical object, and to abstract things such as beliefs or ideas.
The purpose of Survival:
The purpose of survival is to grant you more time to live. The more time you have to live, the greater is the potential of the actualization of your individual merits, regardless if you take interest in the future or not.
Every choice we make creates two paths; one of which is the benefit, and the other is loss. The result of survival itself that it brings greater benefit and minimal loss the more you live. Imagine how much wasted potential there would be if survival wasn’t necessary to actualize more potential; in the absence of the potential of our merits and its possible actualizations, committing suicide, I’ll dare to say, would be inevitable.
Things that are necessary for survival: The four basic needs of nearly all survival situations are shelter, water, fire, and food. The following gear assists with meeting the needs of these four priorities. The order of importance for the following essentials is determined by the the needs of a given situation.
There are few qualities of the survival mindset that will keep you calm in regular life and in life-threatening situations
1).Tenacity.
2). Adaptability.
3). Work ethic.
4). Creativity.
5). Positivity.
6). Acceptance.
7). Humour.
8). Bravery
Survival Strategy:
Survival strategies are ways in which one survives (and hopefully thrives!) in their environment. Everybody (humans, animals, plants) has an impressive and unique way of living on our planet.
When life posses you with challenges, troubles and worries, you need to remember survival strategy Number One: Don’t panic! A competent clinician remains competent in the face of these kinds of challenges. Anxiety is the enemy of rational problem solving, and panic leads even experienced clinicians to operate from survival reflexes instead of therapeutic knowledge.
Another reason not to panic is more subtle and more profound. Victims of trauma and abuse often find that sharing their experiences is extremely upsetting to listeners, so much so that they end up having to take care of the very people who are supposed to be taking care of them.
Remember, we all run into pain, misfortunes, challenges, obstacles, stress, insults, unhappiness but dig into yourself and climb out of the dark hole any way you can. Things do change. The hard times do make you stronger and wiser and hopefully kinder too. You'll heal and grow and very often, out of the pain, comes something so much better, more wonderful and surprising.
