BULB strategic alignment

Well, the vision of RCbest is to create BULB to dominate the Blogging space with $BULB as the currency for BULB economy.

Our current model needs to refine with a bit of strategic alignment with inputs from the community to realise it. You are welcome to give comments to shape this strategy for BULB.

Background
I had a deep thought on the question “why not many people buy $BULB”, even our bulbers are not motivated to buy more on top of what they hold, may be they don’t see its LFG yet without many Solana folks joining in to hold $Bulb medium/long term. So I agree to some extend that marketing has something to do with it that we did not target the right audience with budget to drive demand for $BULB, we did well with SEO on google search for sure-What do you think ?

I agreed that rewards need to be =< Token gate of (2,000/500 $BULB). We can’t continue to distribute rewards like madness in the past. The rewards need to be adjusted. What do you think ?

Last but most important-Tokenomics, we need to control the release of tokens reward and limit the supply. What do you think ?

Strategic Implications
If we think of our $BULB liquidity pool (LP) as a pool of water, we need to open up the tap for water going in (as revenue-ad money/Bulb purchases and Medium writers/users migration), close the wastage tap water going out (as spammers/copycats/low quality users)-coz they dump $Bulb on regular basis. We want the LP to have more SOLs as we progress, so that genuine users/contributors can cashout in ongoing basis but don't cause large dip. This blogging site should ONLY be for creators/writers to posts IMO-coz they will be the users who “give” more than they “take”, give as bringing in more users/readers to spend on token gate fees/tips/purchases. Other contributors such as Mods/reporters can police the site so writers are not flooded by spammers.

Spammers/copycats/low quality users can move to the BULB thread (To be launched in June), these users can’t/won’t write quality post/engaging comment to impress users as they don’t bother to read and digest any way. BULB thread is more suitable for them to hang around to boost our ad money and draw in new users for discussion. It will be easier for these people to write informally, as @andrewsaul suggested an inflation model to sustain revenue such as token gate fees and enlarge holders etc…

We need to slash the reward pool soon, if people want to exit the game and sell that’s fine. The price is so low that they won’t do it any way, even if they do it BULB team will buy with minimum funds. We can add rewards back when needed by size of users and price of $BUL.

BULB team will use the Ad money to buy back the $Bulb from the market.

As Tokenomics we will see if further burn is a good option-won’t rule out IMO.

As a way to turn around our $BULB situation.
