Blessed by two

You two won't ever find out
How much I've grown to adore you
to having two as a blessing while others have so few.

You were my only need ever from the moment you were conceived.
All I could ever want was to hold you, soothe you, and love you both.

You are both my hope and my way of life.
My only hope is that you two will be content.

You have been a part of my joy.
Before you became you, I adored you both.
Even if there were some discomforts, it was all worthwhile.
I was unable to predict what would happen.

My love for you two has only been stronger from the first time I held you both.
There has never been a pair of kids as lovely as you.

I am really proud of you both.
I was blessed by the good Lord, who made you both part of my future.
Even if you wish to be independent of me, keep in mind that without me, there would be no such thing as you.

Be strong as you mature, but don't lose sight of me.
Everyone can see how bright your futures are.
