zkSync Airdrop — 5 projects to double your rewards!
The zkSync ecosystem is among the most promising platforms for a future airdrop. That’s why I’ve selected 5 very interesting projects that are already active on the zkSync mainnet and show you how to use them to increase your chances of a lucrative zkSync airdrop.
On top of that, some of these projects probably do a token airdrop themselves — so it could pay off twice to use them.
If you want to learn even more about zkSync, I recommend you read my first article about zkSync, which shows you how to interact with the zkSync testnet. Testnet transactions might also be a requirement to get a zkSync airdrop — so it’s worth taking a look at it.
zkSync Airdrop Confirmed?
Matter Labs CEO Alex Gluchowski clearly stated in a recent article from The Block that the zkSync token is expected to launch in approximately a year to facilitate the decentralization of the sequencer.
“There is no need for a token at this point. The token will be required once you want to decentralize the sequencer. Everything has to have its objective and justification. In order to have permissionless participation in the validator set, we don’t have anything better than a token right now — like how you make it permissionless. But for now, since we are on this sequencer, it’s not yet necessary.”

Gluchowski approximated that the decentralization of the sequencer would occur in about a year. This provides us with a one-year window to create an active on-chain presence on zkSync Era. As seen with Arbitrum and Optimism, I foresee that transaction history on zkSync Era will be the main factor determining eligibility for the $ZKS airdrop
