Good Morning Bulb Family!

Greetings, everyone!

Introduction

Good day, everyone! Hello and welcome back to another blog. I hope you're all having a fantastic day. I'm doing well too, so no need to worry about me, hihi.

The other day, I was browsing through the conversations on the Discord server and discovered that the Hive Learner community had discussed a few blog themes. When I looked them up, I found that they were all quite fascinating. One topic that caught my attention was "Back to High School," where you describe an event from your high school years that got you into serious trouble.

This topic drew me in because I have many fond memories of my high school days. Today, I'd like to share one of those memorable stories with you. So, without further ado, let's get started.

Note: This article is also published on my hive account.

Now, I think it's time to delve into today's topic. But before I begin, if you haven't checked out my previous articles, I encourage you to do so.

School Days

First and foremost, let me state that I am a pretty shy person when it comes to meeting new people. When I first started school, I remember not talking to anyone and sitting in the corner of the classroom. I'm referring to the early days of my schooling. At that time, I didn't have much of a personality, which is why no one was particularly interested in me. It took me about three years to find my footing at school. I recall making my first close friend when I was promoted to the sixth grade. He was a bright, active kid who got involved in everything and was always talking. I started spending most of my time with him. We began sharing our secrets, and after a few days, we became good friends.

In a few months, thanks to his company, I became more communicative and gained a lot of confidence. I remember becoming well-known at our school when I was promoted to the seventh grade due to my friend's and my unorthodox behavior. We became infamous for tormenting our female teachers. Hehe, now I feel sorry for all my instructors, but no worries, I have fond memories with them now, and they remembered our names. This is just a quick overview of my school days to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about. Now, let me explain why I was punished.

Reason for Punishment

The friend I mentioned earlier was quite flirtatious with all of the teachers. He was also incredibly attractive—in fact, he was the most attractive boy in our school, and all the girls and teachers were drawn to him. He would flirt with female teachers in front of the entire class, delivering seductive lines in the form of jokes to the professors. Our teachers did not reprimand him for this; in fact, they used to laugh at his antics.

The Main and Most Interesting Part

One day, he was absent from school, and I was feeling quite happy and also in a flirty mood. I thought I could make the class laugh and attract the girls' attention, so I started flirting with our teacher. I don't remember the first two or three flirty lines, but I do remember that the teacher ignored me at first. However, I kept flirting with her. Hehe, I got more excited because the teacher wasn't saying anything to me. Out of overconfidence, I said to her, "Hello ma'am, see the light is blinking. Ma'am, see, the light is flirting with me. Ma'am, stop it, please. Ma'am, I don't want to marry the light; please tell it that Jawad is not interested. Ma'am, please tell the light that Jawad is yours."

Lol, when I said this, the whole class burst into laughter. But when I looked at the teacher's face, she was burning with anger. Her face turned red, and she came towards me and slapped me hard across the face. Haha, I was trying to understand what had happened to me, but I couldn't because I had stars revolving around my head from the slap.

The teacher told me to leave the class. I apologized, but she was furious and insisted that I leave, so I did. Even though I wasn't looking at the girls' reactions, I felt incredibly ashamed in front of everyone. When our principal asked me why I was standing outside the class, I said, "For no reason, the teacher told me to get out, so here I am." Hehe, when the principal asked the teacher about it, she explained the whole situation. Then the principal came up to me and said, "Jawad, come with me to my office."

When I entered the office, the principal gave me the murgha (rooster) punishment. For those who don't know what murgha punishment is, it's a traditional form of punishment used in Pakistan, India, and similar places. Let me share a picture with you so you can better understand what I'm talking about.

Now, I hope you understand what I mean. Hehe, the principal ordered me to stay in this position for two periods, but after 10 minutes, I fell down. Hehe, I'm not sure how many times I apologized to both the teacher and the principal. After this punishment, I reverted to being an innocent boy and avoided flirting with anyone for the rest of my life. This is my favorite memory from high school.
