Syntropy is heading into spring with massive momentum, thanks in large part to the major progress, happenings, and announcements in March. It was a month that put AI and interoperability in focus, along with adding key new investors that will help take Syntropy to the next level and push the Data Layer towards mass adoption.

Welcoming Syntropy’s New Strategic Investors to the Cap Table

The middle of March saw one of the biggest business announcements of 2024, as Syntropy finalized agreements with a slew of new investors, adding them to the cap table. The timing was strategic, as new funding and a new wealth of expertise will help accelerate every aspect of Syntropy, from product to strategy and beyond.

Syntropy’s newest investors include some of the biggest names in crypto

Syntropy CEO Daniel Haudenschild welcomed the new investors with open arms, highlighting how these new partners will help scale the Data Layer to becoming a dominant player in blockchain data streaming and access. Funding efforts were conducted with the expert support of Goldrich Consulting, and include big names like Polygon Ventures, Moonrock Capital, and AntAlpha.

Syntropy Brings Streaming Blockchain Data into the AI Spotlight

Last month also saw Jonas Simanavicius, Syntropy CTO, explain the critical role of real-time data in the evolving landscape of AI. He pointed out that as machine learning becomes more prevalent, its demand for instantaneous, accurate data will skyrocket. The integration of Syntropy's Data Layer into AI systems will be essential, providing access to live data streams that improve model performance and reliability across various applications, from predictive analytics to automation.

AI has an endless appetite for real-time blockchain data

Jonas broke down how live blockchain data will be key to unlocking AI's full potential in sectors like healthcare and finance. He broke down how streaming data helps AI learn faster while the blockchain ensures trustworthy and accurate information. The Data Layer is already contributing to this future, partnering with Morpheus AI to improve the decentralized AI ecosystem with live data. Expect even more out-of-the box thinking, opinions, and initiatives with regards to AI moving forward.

Tackling Data Interoperability Hurdles with io.net on Spaces

Data interoperability was another hot topic in March, as Jonas joined forces with Tory Green, COO of io.net, to unpack the core obstacles of interoperability and formulating collective solutions. The joint X Space was an insightful look at how Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) and decentralized compute are reshaping the way we approach interoperability.

Syntropy and io.net break down data interoperability barriers

The two brainstormed about connecting disparate systems for better communication and creating blockchain ecosystems where data flows freely, empowering AI, dApps, and other technologies to reach their full potential.

Onboarding of the First Community Validators Commences

Syntropy onboarded the first set of community validators onto the testnet environment. This is the initial phase of community-driven involvement on Syntropy’s Cosmos SDK based blockchain. It’s the first move towards a more decentralized environment as mainnet launch approaches this quarter.

The program is open to those who have previously served as Syntropy validators. Professionals with experience running validators and are interested in contributing to Syntropy's network strength and integrity are also encouraged to reach out directly.
