In 2014, Wallis starred as Mia Form in the supernatural horror film "Annabelle," delivering a memorable and chilling performance that showcased her talent in the horror genre. She continued to showcase her versatility by portraying Jenny Halsey in the supernatural adventure film "The Mummy" in 2017, further expanding her repertoire.
Wallis's talent and dedication to her craft have been evident in her diverse roles, including her portrayal of Sandra in "Silent Night" (2021) and Madison Mitchell in the horror film "Malignant" (2021). Through her captivating performances, Wallis has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, earning acclaim from audiences and critics alike.

Annabelle Wallis was born on September 5, 1984, in Oxford. She hails from a family with a rich lineage in the entertainment industry. Her maternal great uncle was the esteemed Irish actor Richard Harris, known for his iconic roles in various films. Additionally, her English first cousins once removed include actors Jared Harris, Jamie Harris, and director Damian Harris, further highlighting her familial ties to the world of acting.

On her father's side, Wallis is a descendant of the renowned English singer Marie Lloyd, adding another dimension to her artistic heritage. Her older brother Francis has made a name for himself as a director, having worked with notable figures in the fashion and music industries, including fashion designer Michael Kors and singers Pixie Lott and Birdy.
Wallis spent her formative years in the Portuguese municipality of Cascais, where her family relocated when she was just 18 months old. Growing up in a multicultural environment and attending international schools, she became fluent in multiple languages, including English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish, which undoubtedly contributed to her versatility as an actress.

In Portugal, Annabelle Wallis kickstarted her acting journey by appearing in several short films before deciding to pursue a career in film in London. Upon her relocation to London, she ventured into advertisements and explored opportunities in drama schools, eventually opting to seek representation from an agent.

Her first significant film role came in 2005 when she landed a lead role in the Indian film "Dil Jo Bhi Kahey...". However, the film did not perform well at the box office. She followed this with small parts in films like "True True Lie" (2006) alongside Jaime King, "Body of Lies" (2008) where she portrayed Mark Strong's girlfriend, and the B-movie "Steel Trap" (2008).
On television, Wallis gained recognition with her breakthrough role in season three of the Showtime drama series "The Tudors" (2009), portraying Jane Seymour. This role marked a turning point in her career, replacing actress Anita Briem. Subsequently, she starred in the television film "The Lost Future" (2010) alongside Sam Claflin and appeared in the ABC series "Pan Am" (2011), which unfortunately was cancelled after one season.

In 2011, Wallis had the opportunity to be directed by Madonna in "W.E.: Wallis & Edouard" and also secured a small part in "X-Men: First Class". The following year, she made appearances in Jared Leto's documentary "Artifact" and in "Snow White and the Huntsman," although she was not credited for the latter.

Annabelle Wallis's career continued to soar as she starred as Grace Burgess in the BBC drama "Peaky Blinders" from 2013 to 2016. Her portrayal of Grace allowed her to embody a strong, female alpha role, earning praise from both critics and audiences. The series itself received widespread acclaim during its run.
In 2014, Wallis ventured into The Conjuring Universe with a leading role in the horror film "Annabelle," directed by John R. Leonetti and produced by James Wan. Despite mixed reviews, the film proved to be a box office success, and Wallis's performance garnered positive attention. She received a nomination for Best Scared-As-S**t Performance at the 2015 MTV Movie & TV Awards for her role. Wallis reprised her role as Mia Form in "Annabelle: Creation" (2017).

The same year, Wallis portrayed Muriel Wright, the original Bond girl, in the mini-series "Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond," starring alongside Dominic Cooper.
In 2016, Wallis showcased her versatility by starring in various genres, including the action comedy film "The Brothers Grimsby," the drama "Come and Find Me," and the psychological thriller war film "Mine."
In 2017, Wallis joined Universal Pictures' Dark Universe and starred as archaeologist Jenny Halsey in "The Mummy," a reboot of the classic franchise. Notably, she performed nearly all of her stunts herself, including a challenging Zero-G scene that posed significant risks. Despite Wallis's efforts, the film received negative reviews and underperformed at the box office. Additionally, she appeared in Guy Ritchie's "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" the same year.
