Sachin Tendulkar's cricket journey.
Sachin Tendulkar is considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time. His journey in cricket started when he was just 11 years old, and he was spotted by Ramakant Achrekar, a well-known cricket coach in Mumbai. Achrekar recognized Sachin's talent and started coaching him at the Sharadashram Vidyamandir School.
At the age of 15, Sachin made his debut for the Mumbai cricket team in the Ranji Trophy, India's premier domestic cricket competition. In 1989, at the age of 16, he was selected to play for the Indian cricket team and made his international debut against Pakistan.
Sachin's early years in international cricket were not easy, as he struggled against some of the best bowlers in the world. However, he continued to work hard on his game and soon established himself as one of the best batsmen in the world.
Over the course of his career, Sachin played in 200 Test matches and scored 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78. He also played in 463 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and scored 18,426 runs at an average of 44.83.
Some of Sachin's most memorable performances include his unbeaten 241 against Australia in Sydney in 2004, his 200 not out against South Africa in Gwalior in 2010, and his match-winning 98 against Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup.
Sachin retired from international cricket in 2013, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time and has been honored with numerous awards and accolades, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
