2024 could be the year that Crypto takes off the most. You know I’m keeping an eye on a few places where I think there could be big wins if you’ve read my Medium posts. Level 2s is one of these. I’m going to talk a lot about a Layer 2 that could become the best in the world today.

First, keep in mind that I’m not a money expert and I’m not giving out advice.

Lots of people are still interested in Layer 2s projects because they are still doing well and getting a lot of attention. These are some of the great numbers that projects like Base, Zk Sync, and Arbitrum have shown. A different Layer 2 is getting a lot of attention, though, and it could be very important in 2024.

Linea

Linea is a Layer 2 ZK EVM project made by the same people who made Metamask. Get ready for something great if you don’t know Consensys. Guys, Consensys is one of the best names in crypto. For a while now, Consensys has been slowly making connections with standard business and banking. MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal are among the big names that have joined forces with Consensys. The way Consensys’ projects go in the future could be really changed by these big relationships. For crypto to really take off with everyone, we need these big names to be involved. I’m very hopeful about Linea because Consensys has these relationships.
But let’s take a moment to think. Before everyone starts using it, Linea needs to do better than the other Layer 2s and become the best in its field. And they are different from all the other Layer 2s in a special way.

Relationship with MetaMask

You have used Metamask if you are interested in crypto. People who invest in crypto almost have to have it. This lets them reach crypto buyers in a way that no one else can. This very well might be worth a lot of money. Not really, but more than 100 million people use over 17,000 dapps on Metamask.
Consensys knows how important their role is. It’s easy to move dApps from Ethereum to Linea thanks to them. Linea’s dApps and system will be easier to use than ever with a straight link to Metamask. Developers come first at Linea. If you readed my last…
