NFT Artist Raises $140K for Cancer Support Charity

In a heartwarming display of generosity, a non-fungible token (NFT) artist, Trevor Jones, hailing from Scotland, successfully raised nearly $140,000 (equivalent to 114,000 British pounds) through an art event in Edinburgh, Scotland. The primary aim of this charitable effort was to provide support for cancer treatment, with the funds being directed to Maggie’s Edinburgh, an institution devoted to offering free cancer treatment.

This impressive contribution came as a result of a charity exhibition and auction held during the annual Web3 Castle Party near Paris, an event that drew considerable attention from the crypto and NFT art community. Maggie’s Edinburgh expressed their gratitude, highlighting that this donation represents the largest single contribution from an art event in the center’s 27-year history.

The Château de Vallery near Paris served as the venue for this exhibition, which featured the works of 30 artists.
