Annie Wersching was an American actress born on March 28, 1977. She was recognized for her notable television roles, including Renee Walker in "24," Julia Brasher in "Bosch," Emma Whitmore in "Timeless," and Rosalind Dyer in "The Rookie." Additionally, Wersching provided the voice and performance-capture for the character Tess in the popular video game "The Last of Us."

Annie Wersching was born on March 28, 1977, in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her high school education at Crossroads College Preparatory School in St. Louis, graduating in 1995. During her youth, she was actively involved in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers group. Wersching pursued her higher education at Millikin University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in musical theatre in 1999.


Annie Wersching embarked on her acting journey with a guest appearance on the television series Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to land guest-starring roles on several popular shows such as Angel, Charmed, Cold Case, Killer Instinct, and Supernatural.


From March to November 2007, Wersching portrayed the recurring character Amelia Joffe on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. Additionally, she showcased her talent in theater productions at venues like Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.


Wersching's breakout role came when she portrayed FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of the acclaimed series 24.


Following her impactful portrayal on 24, Wersching made guest appearances on a variety of television shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries, and Touch.
