How Did We Go Dumping?
How we dumped
I've been able to take out 100.15
W of borrows. But I haven't been able to get W as an asset deposited in my wallet.
How it ended up
We're only just up as the price has recovered.
This is a great example of why this needs automated orders, e.g., Stop Loss/Take Profit.
Will raise as feature request with the project.
The others
We experimented with some other platforms using W and here's how those worked out.
On Kamino and Margin we saw very similar returns, only difference to dumpy.fun was I earned some interest whilst holding the USDC positions.
On Drift it was a different story. I lost a bit over $16 due to the way lend/borrow works over there. The lesson is: Avoid Drift for borrow/lend!
What Are We Dumping Next?
Whilst shorting ETH is funny (and probably profitable), we're not here to do stuff we can do literally everywhere in crypto (nearly every defi protocol on pretty much every chain). We're here to do the stuff you can ONLY do on dumpy.fun.
So it's either SAMO or MEW. 
SAMO has been around for years now. MEW just the last few months. But MCs and Volume are inverse: MEW crushes SAMO in both.
Less volume normally means more volatility. But longevity normally points to more stability in the holder base.
So we'll just short them both... but we can't.
dumpy.fun is having issues with landing transactions the last couple of days so we can't actually put on a position this time out.
Project Updates
Recommending tokens
There's a forum on Canny where you can recommend tokens for them to list next.
Let's get BULB listed! Especially before the Earn feature comes in. It's more buy-side pressure after all.
Given the events of the last week or so as goes Trump linked tokens (https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/08/08/a-trump-themed-token-soars-then-dives-95-after-his-son-dashes-hope-the-former-president-backed-it/) I think the largest MAGA/Trump coin on Solana is a good bet.
