There are millions of people who do this without digging deep and investigating the goals behind a project.
Some NFT projects create a strong community behind them and then use their power to list them on powerful stock exchanges and make them earn money by sending airdrops to their holders.
They are different projects that provide services to their users through various wallets.
Some projects facilitate the work of the White List, which is one of the projects that appeal to all segments of society, by establishing different DAOs within themselves.
There are some OG projects, there are communities that do all of the things I wrote above and provide many benefits.

Don't stay away from NFTs, you may see more benefits than harms by controlling your risks, researching and joining communities that will benefit you.
