Well, sh*t happens... or like the words contained in the song performed by one of my favorite comedians (John Jaloie): "sh*t happens all the time, and we learn how to deal with it".
This time, it is my car, it just broke and refused any cooperation with me. All my requests, begging, prayers, and even cursing addressed to this soulless machine didn't bring any result.
So, I had no choice, I had to take my car to the garage and leave him under the care of a mechanic.
Somehow, how the wise old man used to say: "If life brings you lemons... you should prepare a lemon liqueur from that stuff"... or something like that.
Then, I said, OK, I have some lemons in the kitchen, so I can find something out, but I didn't have any "stronger" beverage to pour into a jar and mix with these lemons.
Unwillingly, I had to put my shoes on and walk to the nearest shop. However, I am afraid that will be a kind of demanding expedition for someone, who got used to going everywhere by car.
Anyway, taking advantage of this unplanned walk, I decided to check, how my Walk-to-Earn applications work, and earn some extra coins.
One of the apps that I use is widely known, a NEAR chain-based project, called SWEATCOIN.
There are a bunch of fine, and quite comprehensive posts, published on Bulb.io, like this one: link, so I won't be describing the whole idea, of how this application works. The second one is the application named: COIN, it is a quite long-lasting app on the crypto market, on its website we can find a lot of information, such as: how to get started, user stories, types of subscriptions, and much more. It owns a native ERC-20 token, called XYO coin.
It has a lot of interesting features like geominig - open exploration, gamified travel, physical exercise, mental exercise; geodroping; geoclaiming; rewarded surveys; HODL rewards, games, sweepstakes (only for UK and US citizens).
It offers some methods of boosting for getting reward points, unfortunately, most of them are paid.

The disadvantage of this app is that it collects users' GPS data, unlike the Sweatcoin app.
Anyway, floating to the shore, I'm going to check how the two apps work during the walking activity, and what the difference is between them.
Disclaimer!
Under no circumstances is this investment advice.
Believe me, I’d be the worst financial advisor you’ve ever met. This post is published for entertainment and educational purposes.

The whole distance, I had to overcome to get to the liquor store, was about 5-6 kilometers ( recently I live in a village). Mostly I had to go through a forest and fields.
So I set up both apps: Sweatcoin and COIN - I had to set up a physical exercise feature - walking ( set over 6k steps), and my journey had started.
So I endured blistering winds and scorching snowy deserts, I climbed the highest bloody room of the tallest bloody tower - and what did I find? ( that's a paraphrase from the Shrek movie).
A liquor store, called "Stokrotka" (Daisy flower - eng.), was the one I was looking for.
But until I did my shopping, I had to check my apps.
And they look like that:
The Sweatcoin

The COIN app
Well, how could it happen? Why there was so much discrepancy?
Did, my GPS localization feature go off? ... no, it was on, I checked it.
So the Sweatcoin app wins, for 5 971 steps counted, I will get over one SWEATCOIN to my wallet, and at the time of writing this post, it's about 1 U.S cent.
Referring to the Coin app, disappointed me, showing only 442 steps.

CONCLUSION
Sweatcoin surpasses the others mentioned above app, with its simplicity in use, and the mechanism of counting steps, the app uses GPS and motion sensors to track your steps accurately. Using this app daily and making over 5k steps each day, when assisted with the Spin and Win feature, I can reach 2-3 $ monthly. It could have been a bit more if I had used a paid premium feature.
Well, the COIN app was a real disappointment for me, the fact, that it showed only 442 steps, could be caused by the way, they were counted, only with GPS data. The problem might have occurred when walking through the forest my phone was losing net and GPS connection.
To achieve the goal of the 6k steps exercise, I was supposed to get about 60 XYO coins.
Maybe if I have decided to use other features, unfortunately, the paid one, the app will be more profitable.
Ok, it's enough of the physical activity for me now, I'm looking forward to getting my car back.
... and for those, who are not familiar with John Jaloie, I will attach this video
