WHAT'S NIFTY ISLAND?!

Step into the extraordinary universe of Nifty Island, where the boundaries of imagination are shattered, and creativity knows no limits. In this blockchain-powered virtual world, players can mold their dreams into reality, exploring islands, engaging in thrilling minigames, and unleashing the potential of their own NFT collections.". Right now the game is for PC but we might see a mobile version later :D.
But that's not all; Nifty Island is a virtual world teeming with islands, offering you the opportunity to explore, play captivating minigames, and earn intriguing rewards while enjoying the company of your friends!
This project emerged from a pressing need to present a fresh solution to the NFTs and gaming industry. In today's landscape, only a few blockchain games have ventured into collaborations with other NFT projects such as Bored Apes, Y00ts, Dogepound, Azuki, and more. Notably, Nifty Island introduces a fascinating feature, allowing you to interact with your own NFTs (we'll delve into this further when discussing avatars).

CREATE YOUR OWN ISLAND

At the beginning of your journey, you'll land on your very own free island (this is not an NFT). Feel free to personalize your island to your heart's content. Do you have a penchant for castles? Build one! Interested in prisons? Construct it! How about a dungeon adorned with chests and dragons? Go ahead and create that too! Your imagination is the only limit.
Once you've finished customizing your island, the next step is to craft your own minigames! That's right – you can design four different minigames, such as:
Capture the Flag: A classic minigame where the objective is to capture the flag and bring it back to your base.

Death Match:This happens to be my personal favorite! In this game mode, you'll have access to two types of weapons – a sword and a pistol. As you navigate the map, you'll discover various types of ammunition scattered throughout. These ammunitions come with diverse effects such as stunning, exploding, healing while damaging your opponent, and many more exciting possibilities!"

Foot Race:A straightforward race where your goal is to pass through checkpoints and achieve the best time.
Spy Hunt:This one offers a unique twist. Your objective is to locate other real players scattered around the map, but it won't be an easy task. Beware of clones, whether they be your own or those of other players, making it challenging to pinpoint the actual players."

AVATARS

This is my favorite aspect of the project. Initially, you begin with a simple avatar, reminiscent of a Splatoon character (hehe). However, the excitement kicks in when you realize you can choose from a variety of avatars sourced from different NFT collections such as Mocaverse, Dogepound, Azuki, Cyberkonz, Sofa Vision, Y00ts, and many more! The only prerequisite is to own at least one NFT from the collection you wish to explore. But wait, there's more – you also have the option to upload your own 3D creations! Don't fret if you're not adept at 3D animations; you can still discover numerous cool avatars in the official Marketplace!

Note: Here in the marketplace you may get some earnings by creating some 3D avatars or 3D buildings and put them into sale at the marketplace!

WHO'S BEHIND THE PROJECT?

This part is straightforward – Nifty Island, LLC is the driving force behind this extraordinary video game project. They are dedicated to crafting a comprehensive and captivating metaverse that brings together a myriad of NFT collections. This initiative aims to offer players a clearer understanding of the genuine utility of NFTs.
Nifty Island, LLC was founded by a collective of gamers, crypto enthusiasts, and artists. Their extensive expertise is evident, with team members boasting experience from reputable companies such as Amazon, Metamask, and OpenSea. Notably, the team has actively participated in various web3 NFT projects.
The core vision of Nifty Island, LLC revolves around creating an internet that is more open, enjoyable, community-driven, and beneficial for everyone. While acknowledging the financial aspect, they maintain a steadfast belief that video games should remain inherently fun and attractive for genuine gamers.

TOKENOMICS

$ISLAND
Is the ERC-20 token which will act as a Nifty land's utility tokenthat will exist on the Ethereum blockchain and will act as Nifty Island's utility token. The $ISLAND token will be backed by strong in-game utility will help to power Nifty Island’s creator economy.

BLOOMS
Blooms serve as the off-chain currency, enabling you to purchase NFT rewards from the marketplace. By playing consistently, you can accumulate Blooms. To maximize your Bloom earnings, I recommend actively participating in various missions. Each completed mission is rewarded with Bloom coins, providing you with the means to acquire a variety of items within the game.

IS IT REALLY WORTH IT TO PLAY IT ?

Positive Points:

The characters move seamlessly, providing a smooth gaming experience. The control over my character feels responsive and intuitive.
The collaboration with various NFT collections was a brilliant move. Many players are drawn to the game to witness and appreciate their NFTs in action.
It's free to play! No special passes, NFTs, or tokens are required. The process is as simple as registering, downloading the game, and diving right in.
The marketplace is a crucial feature, offering an excellent opportunity for earning. Everyone has the freedom to create and upload their own creations for sale.
The minigames are incredibly entertaining and add an extra layer of excitement to the overall gaming experience.

Negative Points:

The game is still in development, leading to a point where it becomes somewhat monotonous due to the limited number of minigames available (currently only 4).
The music didn't resonate well with me; some of the songs felt repetitive and lacked engagement.
The game seems to have a relatively low player count, resulting in certain islands feeling somewhat lonely.
The $ISLAND token hasn't been released yet, limiting earning opportunities to selling avatars and structures on the marketplace.

GAME RATING

Must admit that I've been playing the game, and really liked it, because there are many different Islands to explore.
I give it a 4.5/5!

Conclusion

I loved how the game is including functionality to many NFTs collaborations, definitely this is the way! All other blockchaingames should consider to include some functionality to all the NFTs just like this game.
