The Radiant Eyes
Windows to the horizons beyond
The Eyes are the windows of the Individual. It is with the eyes that each of us views the external world of phenomena. The radiant eyes can become powerful arrows when connected to and pulled from the bow of soul. The radiant eyes can see beyond the material horizon; far into the invisible realms of divine spirit.
You are your eyes!
The radiant Eyes are a blessing to the possessor. We all have eyes but some lack radiance and thus needs recharging. An unhealthy eye cannot radiate powerful light. It is this radiance of the eyes that projects who and what we are.As a child, my Father taught me the importance of eye contact. He made me believe that through the eyes one could judge if we were telling lies or not.
While I was growing up as an adolescent, I found out that maintaining Eye contact with persons from certain culture was a taboo and always connote disrespect. Some monks and females of certain religion also avoid eye contact to resist being lured. It is a good thing to have diverse beliefs about Eye contact but I know there should be a subtle, primary reason why some people maintain eye contact and others avoid it.
From personal experience and findings from ancient archives, the radiance in the eyes, is the fine reason why people maintain or avoid eye contact. Radiance is begotten by the light from the soul. All living things have this light because they are all souls.
The power of the radiant eyes
Nature has ample examples of the effects of the radiant eyes.The Lamia, a snake catches the Nightingale, a bird by virtue of its radiant gaze.The Ostrich and Spider are said to hatch their eggs by looking at them.The Basilisk, through its powerful glance, can absorb the vitality out of any living thing. Gorgon Medusa was said to turn any living thing into a stone when contact is made with her eyes.
Some people claim to have got hoarse voices from the intense looks of wolves. Many are frightened to look into the radiant eyes of cat especially in the night.The eyes of the night owl stand out in the dark because of the rays that emanate from them. The Linno of the Sardinia coast are observed to possess the ability to diffuse light from their eyes in water and Fishes within the perimeter of this diffusion die. Human lovers tend to attract the others through their gazes.
The radiance in the eyes is a powerful tool of navigation. The ancients portrayed it in the use of the “evil eye” because the primitive mind saw every act of nature as retribution from evil inclinations.
Inspiration from the radiant eyes
Humans have invented various models of the radiant eye, ranging from the laser beams to the flood lights. All inventions made by humanity are but the demonstration of inner laws on the material or coarse planes.
The inner dimensions of Human have been neglected for far too long. The Light that emanates as radiance from the eyes has its source within man — -the light of soul.
This radiance from the soul can be intensified by spiritual practices such as repetition of sacred sounds and contemplation on the inner light.
The science of electromagnetism recognizes that every object has aura, even Humans. This aura is the resultant effect of the light of soul. A life of love for the supreme Creator and all living things can also intensify our aura with spiritual lights.
In the Orient, people have experienced the master’s gaze or Tiwaji. Spiritual adepts have the ability to channel light to their students or devotees who often experience this as intense tranquility and Joy. These avatars are the embodiment of Love and light. They emanate light spontaneously from their eyes in concentrated form. Some people have received healing or have had their karmic debts erased through the gaze of competent spiritual masters.
The legacy to protect
The radiance of the eyes is our inheritance that we should protect. Through the course of time via births, soul has to wear the material and ethereal tunics that prevented the full effulgence of this light. None the less, the little amount of radiance in our eyes gives testimony to the greater one within.
While caring for patients, I have observed with profound awe that dying patients slowly loose the radiance in their eyes when the silver cord is finally severed from their spinal regions. Corpses lack this radiance in their eyes and this is one of the several proofs that the light in us is powered by soul.
The physical eyes are the organs of sight as well as screens where our passions are reflected. Most importantly, they reflect the powerful lights of soul which play a relevant role in building an impressive personal magnetism.

Even the blind person has the radiant eyes which are spiritual in nature and are often called the ‘third eye’ or ‘Tisratil’. It is Important we take very good care of our eyes for this organ can serve as an outlet for physical, psychic and spiritual transmission of soul radiance.
