Kaia Jordan Gerber, born on September 3, 2001, is an American model and actress, hailing from a family with a strong foothold in the fashion industry. She is the daughter of renowned model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber.

Kaia Jordan Gerber was born on September 3, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, as the younger of two children to supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. She has an older brother named Presley.


Her diverse heritage includes German, English, French, and Danish ancestry from her mother's side, who follows Christianity, and she has American Jewish roots from her father's side. Gerber has embraced both cultures, stating in a 2018 interview that her family celebrates both Christian and Jewish traditions, affectionately referring to it as "Chrismukah." She expressed her love for learning about both faiths and actively participating in festivities such as Passover dinner and Yom Kippur.


At the age of 10, Gerber embarked on her modeling career, landing her first gig with Versace's junior line, Young Versace.
