Overall, Eliza Dushku's contributions to both television and film have cemented her status as a talented and versatile actress in the entertainment industry.

Eliza Dushku was born in Boston and grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts. She is the youngest and only daughter among four siblings. Her parents are Philip Richard George Dushku, a school teacher and administrator, and Judy Dushku (née Rasmussen), a political science professor.
Dushku's father hailed from Boston and had Albanian ancestry, with roots in the city of Korçë. Her mother, originally from Idaho, is of Danish, English, Irish, and German descent. Interestingly, Dushku's parents divorced before she was born.
Raised in a religious household, Dushku and her brothers were brought up as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, before graduating from Watertown High School.

In 2003, Eliza Dushku took on prominent roles in various projects. She starred in the horror film "Wrong Turn" and appeared in "The Kiss," an independent comedy-drama. Additionally, she began starring in the Fox supernatural drama series "Tru Calling," portraying the main character, medical student Tru Davies. The series follows Tru as she discovers her ability to relive the previous day if one of the deceased asks for her help to change their fate. Interestingly, Dushku turned down a role in a spin-off of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" centered around her character, Faith.
Known for her portrayal of "bad girl" roles, Dushku has been candid about her affinity for such characters, stating in an interview with Maxim that playing a bad girl allows her to defy societal norms without facing real-life consequences.

In addition to her television and film work, Dushku has also ventured into other mediums, including Off-Broadway theater. She starred in the play "Dog Sees God" in December 2005, portraying a character symbolizing Lucy Van Pelt from the Peanuts comic strip. However, she left the production in February 2006 amid rumors of abuse by the producer.
Dushku's career has also included appearances in music videos, such as Simple Plan's "I'm Just a Kid" and Nickelback's "Rockstar." She has voiced characters in several video games and has taken on roles in various independent films, receiving praise for her performances in projects like "On Broadway" and "The Alphabet Killer."

Eliza Dushku's career continued to evolve with various projects after her tenure on "Dollhouse." In 2010, she provided her voice for "Noah's Ark: The New Beginning" and appeared in the film "Locked In." Additionally, she guest-starred in an episode of CBS' comedy "The Big Bang Theory."
The following year, Dushku featured in "One Shot," a short action clip on YouTube directed by and starring Freddie Wong. She also had a lead role in the online animated "motion comic" series "Torchwood: Web of Lies," based on the BBC series "Torchwood: Miracle Day."
In 2012, Dushku starred in the film "The Scribbler," alongside Katie Cassidy, Gina Gershon, and Michelle Trachtenberg. The film was directed by John Suits and produced by Gabriel Cowan.

Continuing her work in television, Dushku was cast as Patricia Holm in a pilot film for a proposed TV revival series of "The Saint" in 2013. Although the series was not commissioned, the pilot was released on digital HD/VOD in July 2017.
From 2013 to 2015, Dushku voiced the role of She-Hulk in the Disney XD animated series "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.." In 2016, she joined the fourth season of the Cinemax TV series "Banshee" in a recurring role.
In 2017, Dushku had a recurring guest role in the last three episodes of the first season of the CBS drama series "Bull," with the option of becoming a series regular in season two.
