Indonesia Web3 Landscape and Crypto Outlook 2022 was officially released on December 19, 2022 by the Indonesian Blockchain Association (A-B-I) and Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN). The blockchain ecosystem and crypto assets are growing significantly from year to year. This is evidenced by the many blockchain-based companies and projects that have sprung up in Indonesia.
From the latest data compiled from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, there are 569 companies or startups registered in the Online Single Submission (OSS) system that fall into the category of "Blockchain Technology Development Activities" with the Standard Classification of Industrial Business Fields (KBLI) 62014 and total crypto asset investors According to data from CoFTRA as of October 2022, Indonesia has reached 16.42 million, which is much larger than the total investors in the capital market which only reached 9.98 million investors. Indonesia Web3 Landscape 2022 is mapped into 12 categories in the blockchain ecosystem, including: Government and related institutions Platforms for buying and selling crypto assets (crypto exchanges) Blockchain consultants Blockchain infrastructure Blockchain media & information Digital Assets/Dapps Blockchain community Blockchain active protocols Token Funds NFTs & metaverse platforms Web3 Gaming.
"This landscape was created with the aim of providing a comprehensive picture of the ecosystem of the blockchain industry and crypto assets in Indonesia," said Asih Karnengsih, MM, Chairwoman A-B-I. Asih also said, "This landscape can help new players to connect with the right industry actors."

At the end of 2022, the development of the A-B-I ecosystem is also growing positively, where the total members have increased by 40% compared to the previous year with the current number reaching 47 members consisting of 29 blockchain project companies and 18 Prospective Crypto Asset Physical Traders who have been registered with Bappebti as well as becoming partners with the government in policy making, then with several well-known universities in Indonesia to produce quality talents, and global industry players to establish international cooperation.
