Testnet 2.0 is now live
A new testnet update is upon us - and this time, a huge one.
Introducing Pike Caviar - our best update yet.
Faster transactions, cheaper fees and a complete architecture revamp to deliver the best cross-chain lending experience yet.
Check out Testnet 2.0 here: https://testnet2.pike.finance
So what’s new in Testnet 2.0?
Being a brand new deployment - your balances will be reset to 0. You’ll still be able to access Testnet 1.0 however, so feel free to withdraw your assets to reuse them accordingly.
The headline upgrade for Testnet 2.0 are how asset balances are calculated and stored within Pike - no more delays or incorrect frontend balances when depositing on repaying assets!
We've also made several upgrades and optimizations of how various Pike functions are carried out and processed - both not only speeding up transactions, but also reducing gas needed for transport fees quite dramatically.
Furthermore, just like how we implemented Rabby support last week, we've also enabled Wallet Connect to allow seamless use of a large variety of wallets on Pike!
What does this mean for Pike?
We’re in the final stretch before mainnet. Yes, mainnet.
No dates just yet, but Testnet 2.0 will be our core testing environment for new features and functionality we decide to make live ahead of launch.
This makes you, the community, more important than ever.
Your testing and feedback has allowed the team to improve Pike since it’s initial testnet launch, more than we could on our own - and we’re eternally grateful.
What does this mean for users?
You’ll now be using a very polished version of Pike, complete with all the features and UX upgrades requested by the community.
Now that we’ve hit 1 month since the launch of the Testnet, we will be retiring our Early role.
If you’ve missed out, worry not - being an active and valuable member of the community will reward you far more than you know.
And for those who were around for Testnet 1.0, and now back for Testnet 2.0 - thank you so much.

About Pike
Pike is a Universal Liquidity Protocol; it is designed to unleash utility for native assets by aggregating liquidity across blockchain networks.
Pike’s vision is to become a universal liquidity layer that enables frictionless movement and accessibility of native assets across ecosystems. Pike is built on top of Wormhole’s Cross-Chain Data Messaging and Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP).
One fundamental primitive of Pike is to enable users to supply native assets on source chains and borrow native assets destination chains without interacting with cross-chain bridges and handling wrapped assets.
