Jupiter Soars Past Uniswap By “WEN” Token Airdrop

1. TRADING VOLUME OF JUPITER SOARS

Solana's decentralized exchange (DEX) Jupiter has surpassed the popular Ethereum-based Uniswap V3 in daily trading volume. Data from SolanaFloor, a platform provided by Step Finance, shows that Jupiter took the number one spot across chains as its 24-hour trading volume reached an impressive $519.8 million.

2. JUPITER - THE NEW TOP DEX

Jupiter's rise to the top of the DEX charts is a testament to the growing strength of the Solana ecosystem. With trading volume that has surpassed half a billion dollars, it has nearly dethroned Uniswap V3.
In third place is Komodo Wallet, a decentralized platform that has reached a trading volume of $216 million and only lists 10 coins. Orca takes fourth place with decentralized services, reaching a trading volume of $184 million.

3. EXPANDING THE ECOSYSTEM WITH AN AIRDROP 

Jupiter has set January 31st as the official date for its highly anticipated JUP token airdrop. The event is set to distribute 1 billion JUP tokens to nearly 1 million eligible DeFi users on Solana.
The criteria for distributing tokens to users will revolve around their level of engagement with the Jupiter platform, including metrics such as trading volume completed and frequency of platform interaction.
Furthermore, Jupiter is preparing to introduce a new memecoin, which is expected to serve as a live test for their newly developed launchpad. WEN – a recently appeared memecoin built on the Solana ecosystem. The $WEN token has been listed on the DeFi Jupiter exchange with a current price of about 0.0001553 $USDC.
The $JUP airdrop is just the first phase of an expansion plan aimed at distributing half of the total JUP supply to the community, with additional airdrops and allocations for contributors, reserves, and liquidity providers planned for the future.
