The Words of Week 5 '25
Word of the day - Week 5 2025
Each week I try and post a summary of words that have been lingering around in my prayers, meditations, readings, thoughts, interactions, etc. Posting these words helps me to set specific intentions, reflect on different topics, and connect with my inner knowing on a deeper level. I explain what each word meant to me in that specific week. With these posts, I want to encourage others to be more aware of their thoughts and feelings, and to put more intent into their lives by reflecting (and possibly) writing about their experiences. I am hoping the intentional art of writing will be brought to everyone. Writing has changed my life in many different ways. I wish for you the same 🪷
The prompts below the words of the week are meant as writing prompts for you to reflect on relevant concepts in your personal, professional or any other relevant area in your life. Happy writing! ✍🏾

The words of week 5
Steadfast Shed Manipulate Temple Dwell Promise Amen
Are you staying steadfast in your choices plans and goals,
or are you letting others people's opinions about you
drive every single move you make?
Can a bit of steadfast help boost self confidence?
What layers of yourself are still active and need to be shed
for you to break into your next level of growth?
Are you still manipulating yourself and others into doing things
the lazy and fast way?
Am I choosing manipulation over vulnerability, truth and integrity?
Are you treating your mind and body as the temple they are?
Are you consuming the right things and information to help nourish your
mind and body, the temple you need for the rest of your life?
Dwell into new stories, new truths, new perspectives, new views.
What are you still dwelling on, which is not in line with your goals, norms and values?
Last week I read this post: Some Promises Are Lies by @Jawad Khan.
I believe a promise you make while knowing you can't comply, is definitely a lie.
A promise made, but failing to work out because life wanted it a different way,
is the way we build resilience to failures, disappointments and adversities.
What promises have you made, knowing they are lies?
How can you repent from those?
Thanx for the inspo on this word!
This just felt like the perfect word for the end of the week.
Finishing, sealing, approving, and blessing things with the word Amen.
The story of week 5
In the quiet village where old temples stood as testaments to promises made long ago, a steadfast man named Theo chose to dwell among ancient shadows. Each day, he would visit the temple, whispering "Amen" as a vow to remain true to his path, untouched by the world's desire to manipulate. However, as years passed, Theo began to shed his rigid beliefs, realizing that the true temple was within, and flexibility did not mean betrayal. With this newfound understanding, he made a new promise to himself—to navigate life's complexities with a heart both steadfast and open. As he walked from the temple one evening, his "Amen" carried a lighter, freer tone, echoing through the corridors of his soul.

I love playing with words and written language. Especially discovering words and lingo I don't often use. Feel free to drop any words you have been feeling into the past (few) week(s) in the comments. Who knows we might learn from each other 🪷
I wish you a great new week❣️
