Eagle Hunting: Inspirational On Achieving Goals
The baby eagle had just learned to fly… Being full of enthusiasm, he was busy showing his acrobatics to everyone.
Then he saw a pig running under the tree, “Mother, look at that pig, it will be so delicious, I will hunt it now.”
“No son,” said the mother, “you are not ready for this yet, the pig is a big prey, you start with the rat.”
The hawk was obedient, he immediately obeyed his mother and soon he learned to hunt rats with great skill.
Now his confidence had increased a lot, he went to his mother and asked her to hunt the boar again.
“Not now son, first you learn to hunt rabbits”, mother explained.
Within a few days the eagle also learned to hunt rabbits. He was fully confident that now he could definitely kill his first target, the pig… and he went to his mother to seek her permission.
But this time also his mother refused him and asked him to hunt the lamb first. The hawk soon became adept at hunting lambs.
Then one day he was sitting on a branch with his mother when a piglet passed by. The eagle looked at his mother. The mother smiled and signaled him to pounce on the pig.
The eagle immediately flew down and ate his favorite food for the first time that day.
Friends, imagine what would have happened if his mother had asked him to hunt a boar in the first place?
The little eagle would definitely have failed…and possibly his self-confidence would have weakened. But when he first made small hunts, both his confidence and his ability improved. And ultimately he was successful in achieving his desired goal.
This story of the eagle teaches us to achieve our big goal by dividing it into small and easy parts. Therefore, make a big goal, definitely make it, but to achieve it, keep patience within yourself, listen to your guru and divide it into small parts in a planned manner and finally achieve your big goal.
