◾KuCoin officially launches its latest decentralized product — “KuCoin Wallet”. The wallet with the website will go live for users from 1st June.

◾Binance Labs launches a $500 million fund in partnership with global investors including DST Global Partners and Breyer Capital to drive innovation across the crypto, Web3 and blockchain landscape.

◾These funds will be allocated to projects across various stages — incubation, early-stage and late-stage growth.

◾The goal of the newly closed investment fund is to discover and support projects and founders with the potential to build and lead Web3 across Defi, NFTs, gaming, metaverse, social, and more.

◾️The government of South Korea has announced it will start investing in metaverse projects directly.

◾️The investment, which will amount to $177.1 million to kickstart the national industry, was announced by the minister of science and information and communication technologies of South Korea, Lim Hyesook.

◾️The investment is part of the new tech focus South Korea has included in its Digital New Deal, a set of guidelines that the government is following to push citizens to transition to a fully digital society.
