Think A Little Before Doing Anything !

A few years after marriage, a young man told his father that he wanted to go abroad and do business.

The father approved it. The young man left his parents and pregnant wife and went abroad to do business.

He worked hard abroad and earned money and became a very rich merchant. After about 15 years were spent in earning money, he felt like returning home. He wrote a letter to his wife informing her of his arrival and boarded the ship.

That Seth reached his city after a few days. At a crossroads in the city he saw a man standing with a board. He had written on that board – Sources of valuable knowledge.

When Seth went to that person and inquired about it, he told that he was selling the sources of precious knowledge.

So Seth said, “Okay, give me one sutra also.”

The man said, “Each of my knowledge sutras is worth 100 gold coins.”

Seth found this deal expensive but he bought a knowledge formula.

That person gave Seth a formula of knowledge “Before doing any work, stop and think for 2 minutes.”

Seth wrote that formula in his diary.

By the time Seth reached his home it was already night. Seth thought, I have returned after so many years, so why not go straight to my wife and surprise her.

The watchmen of the house were forbidden from saying anything inside by gestures. And went straight to his wife's room. He was shocked to see the scene there.

He saw that a young man was sleeping with his wife. Seeing this, Seth became furious with anger.

He started thinking that I kept worrying about her in a foreign country and here she was sleeping with another man. Today I will not leave these two alive. He was about to take out his sword in anger and attack both of them. Meanwhile, he had bought the Gyan Sutra in exchange for 100 gold coins. He remembered that “Think for 2 minutes before doing anything.”

He stopped to think for 2 minutes. He moved the sword back but it collided with a vessel.

The wife woke up to the sound of the pot falling. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw her husband in front of her, she became very happy and said, “Life without you was miserable. Only I know how I spent so many years waiting.”

Having said this, the wife picked up the young man sleeping nearby and said, “Son! Get up! Your father has come.

As soon as the young man got up and bowed to greet his father, the turban on his forehead fell at Seth's feet. Her long hair scattered.

Seth's wife said, “This is your daughter. To ensure that his honor is not harmed, I have given him upbringing and values like a son since childhood.

Hearing this, a stream of tears flowed from Seth's eyes. He hugged his wife and daughter and started thinking. If I had not followed that knowledge today, how much disaster would have happened in my anger. My own innocent family would have been destroyed by my hands.

Lesson Of The Story

Friends, the lesson learned from this story is that one should not take any decision in haste. Because when we are in anger, we do not care about good and bad. Therefore, do not take any decision when angry. Stop for a while and let your mind cool down and then think about what is right and what is wrong.
