Musk Announces New Twitter Features

Twitter CEO Elon Musk (Elin Musk) has announced a new innovative initiative aimed at improving Twitter's profitability and supporting content creators on the network.

The CEO has publicly stated that he is expanding the scope of Twitter's advertising platform and that Twitter users will soon be able to earn money through subscriptions; this new plan adds to the growing list of unconventional implementations that Twitter is using to enhance the user experience and promote free speech.
The changes will allow content creators on the microblogging platform, such as virtual currency influencers, to be incentivized based on their contributions to the site, according to Twitter's latest improvements, which focus on user-focused enhancements aimed at improving follower engagement and developing new revenue streams for the site by allowing people around the world to monetize different types of tweets.

Charge followers a monthly fee using the subscription feature
Twitter users can now charge followers a monthly fee using the newly introduced "subscription" feature.
Users can also choose one of the price points Twitter has set for the service, and once payment is processed, subscribers will have access to exclusive content from the creators that is hidden from public view.

This new initiative has been well received by virtual currency influencers, who can use the tool to publish important fundamental and technical analysis on tokens, NFTs, and other digital assets, as well as to communicate important information related to the world of virtual currency; moreover, all revenue will be provided directly to creators without charging Twitter, a feature that should be attractive to them.

Indeed, since the CEO took control of Twitter, the company has implemented a number of significant changes to transform itself into a profitable business, and these changes include extensive layoffs and the launch of the "Twitter Blue" subscription service; however, many of those already authenticated on Twitter objected to paying a monthly fee for a blue check mark on their profiles, so Mask deemed this service a significant revenue generator for the company.

Currently developing the ability to charge users
In addition, Twitter is developing a feature that will allow media publishers to charge users for individual articles at the click of a button.
This would allow customers who do not want to commit to a monthly subscription to instead pay a certain price per article and read it occasionally; the monetization feature would put Twitter in head-to-head competition with sites such as Patreon and YouTube, which already offer comparable tools, and may prompt social media companies to step up research and development of monetization tools.
