Most frequently asked questions about EigenLayer
How many points does EigenLayer give?
Currently, 1 $ETH staked on EigenLayer gives 24 Points per day.
What is the difference between LST and LRT? What are the Advantages and Risks?
LST= Liquid Staked Token (Lido, Swell, Rocketpool, etc.) LRT= Liquid Retaken Token (EtherFi, Puffer, Kelp etc.) When you receive LST, you need to enter @eigenlayer's platform and stake there again. That's why you have to wait for the pools to open. The closest it will open is February 5th. When you enter the LRT platform, you do not need to make any transactions in Eigen. Directly, the platform stakes Eigen on your behalf and you instantly start earning Eigen points. The advantage of LRT is that you can restake with a single transaction and there is no capacity limit. The risk is that you need an extra platform and the token they give you will be depegged.
Will EigenLayer airdrop? When can he do it?
There is a 99% probability that it will issue tokens and airdrop them. These points are not being increased for nothing :) As for when, it is most likely in the 3rd Quarter... (July etc.)
Are we late to deposit?
I think there is still time. Of course, the amount and duration you deposit are important. However, since it is a project that can radically change the Ethereum ecosystem, it will be important to take part here.
Which one makes more sense to invest in right now?
If you say you do not want to take too little risk, you can deposit stETH, rETH etc. directly to the EigenLayer platform. But if you say you want to earn Eigen points and benefit from airdrops from other platforms; Puffer Finance is new and growing very fast, you can choose there. Personally, if I were to enter for the first time right now, I would deposit there. Swell, EtherFi etc. are also quite good, but since they have been on the market for months, the points there have inflated... Puffer is the newest place to be released and there is no point increase. You only get points based on the amount you deposit.
Can we stake LRT to EigenLayer and loop?
No, you can only stake LST to EigenLayer. Eigen LRT does not accept. But those who say they want to loop can do this... (Your risk rate increases) You staked to EtherFi. He gave you eETH in return. You went and showed it as collateral and received ETH in return, and you staked the ETH you received to EtherFi and received eETH again, etc., etc. You can loop it like this. But there may be problems with depeg etc. I do not recommend.
I staked my ETHs on LRT platforms. Where will I see my Eigen Points?
If you stake ETH in projects such as EtherFi, Puffer, KelpDAO etc., you will earn the same amount of EigenLayer points, but the points you earn will not appear on the EigenLayer site. It appears in the profile section etc. on the website of the platform you invest in. Don't worry, it may sometimes take a few days for the scores to appear.
